Nocturnes with Nika
'Nocturnes with Nika' was born during the first lockdown of 2020, during the time we found ourselves in a very different inner space collectively and individually. It seemed like a Potent time to explore the fascination with all things Nocturnal, the many sides of human nature -- light and dark -- of dreams and reality, in the form of a Nocturne through the landscapes of today's Composers.
In collaboration with Bobby Williams, visual artist, videographer and sound engineer, we explore collaborative storytelling, the dissolving of the music with the performer, the listener, and space, which we hope may allow greater freedom for the story to tell itself.
